2025 is the perfect year for being proactive in advocating the interests of Swan Classic by Frers Owners, because, as you most probably know, Nautor Swan is revamping its strategies, also with respect to its fleet of classic boats.

In particular, together with the S&S Swan Association (https://www.classicswan.org/), this year, we are encouraging Nautor Swan to re-establish the service of providing at reasonable conditions the technical designs, that are needed for better managing and maintaining our boats. We are confident, that some positive changes are on the way.

The ambition of our Association is, in the coming years, to make our website a useful place to exchange/find information about anything that is relevant for Swan Classic by Frers Owner.
I would like to ask for your support in order to carry these first activities:

1. share in a monthly newsletter sailing experiences and any other information our members would likle to share, in a very personal and informal way. Each of us is herewith encouraged to send their stories, with some pictures, so that we can circulate them on our mailing list.
2. extend our membership: I encourage you to inform us of the contact details of any friend of yours that isn’t a member of our Association, but owns a Swan Classic by Frers
3. activate the password protected Owners’s section of our webiste: we would there publish technical information that maybe helpful for all SCBF owners in managing and maintaining their boats.

If you believe that there are other urgent/relevant things that our Association should do this year, please write me: every idea, suggestion (or criticism) is welcome.
In this endeavor we will try to emulate (to the best of our capabilities) what the S&S Swan Association (classicswan.org) has realised in two decades of relentless and far sighted work.
We believe that Le Voiles de Saint Tropez and the Middle Sea Race could be the next opportunities to start meeting in person.

Together with our twin Associatíons S&S Classic Swan (https://www.classicswan.org) and Swan by Ron Holland (https://www.facebook.com/groups/603439316402444), and supported by Nautor Swan, in 2026 we have organised the first Swan Heritage Reunion. It will be an event for all Classic Swans designed by German Frers, S&S and Ron Holland.

Capraia, a gem of the Tuscan Archipelago, is a cozy and small island, and the marina has a limited number of berths, so, please, confirm your participation as soon as possible!

We are working with Nautor’s Swan and Marina di Capraia Isola, in organizing this venue!
