Happy New 2026 to us all !
The collection of technical drawing is growing & New toerails available. Two excinting events for Classic Swans in 2026.
Sharing information on maintenance providers
Starting in 2026, and following the same practice as the S&S Classic Swan Association, we will publish all reports submitted by our members regarding good and poor-quality maintenance providers.
Reports should be concise, factual, include the date and location of the works performed, and be signed by the SCBF member submitting them.
New SCBF drawings received
We would like to warmly thank several SCBF friends for their generous donation of deck drawings of the Swan 651 to our growing collection.
All drawings collected by SCBF will remain permanently available – free of charge – in PDF format, exclusively to SCBF members (limited to the drawings relevant to the boat they own).
We encourage everyone to share any drawings in their possession, so that we may identify missing documents and focus our efforts on locating them.
As many of you already know, the S&S Classic Swan Association has succeeded in gathering all original drawings, which are now stored and preserved by the Mystic Seaport Museum (see S&S Newsletter #413).

New toerail also available for SCBF yachts up to 51 ft
The S&S Newsletter #433 brings good news also for Classic Swan by Frers owners:

A newly reproduced toerail has been successfully manufactured and installed on S&S Swan 44/016 Selene – finally putting an end to a long-standing nightmare.
As you know, the original anodized aluminium toerail has been unavailable for years, as the moulds were unfortunately discarded.
For the full story, please see the link above. It is of great importance to note that this toerail fits all Classic Swan models:
- S&S-designed yachts up to 47 ft
- German Frers-designed SCBF yachts up to 51 ft
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Matteo Salamon of S&S Classic Swan and to the owner of Selene, Swan 44/016, for making this possible.
SCBF can assist any member interested in purchasing a new toerail by putting them in direct contact with the manufacturer.
